Mazatlan
We arrived in Mazatlan November 23rd after a uneventful Southern Crossing and one beautiful sunset.
One of Mazatlan's
treasures is Machado
Square.
Pino Suarez Market is
another jewel of
Mazatlan. You can find
clothes, produce and
even meat.
David and Don
(Interlude) surfed the
famous Playa Bruja
in Northern Mazatlan.
Of course, there were days
exploring with friends. Don
and Peggy (Interlude)
joined us for a day around
town which included all you
can eat at Gringo Lingo. It
also included a pulmonia
ride in which the driver ran
out of gas. Don and David
were glad to give him a
push.
Hal and Kathy (Airborne)
once again acted as our
tour guides for the out of
the way spots. One stop
at a major market included
tequila tasting - only in
Mexico.
We were able to see
part of the the "Our
Lady of Guadalupe"
celebration.
Appartently, this
includes dressing up
the kids.
